Topic "Can you make iplaymuvee stream in the background?" a message from joelrb

Hi!

Thanks for downloading the app. Thank you also for your suggestion. Multi-tasking has just been made possible with iOS 4.0. So, your request can now be added to feature request. A new version is in the works and will be uploaded to iTunes app store soon.

agenthuman007 wrote:

Hi there!
Thank you for downloading iPlayMuvee.
I understand your concern. I am glad you have requested such a feature. It is already under consideration in the next version. In the meantime, you can tap the next button (>|) of the player to select your desired song in the play queue or selected playlist.

There are many other functionalities that will be added in the future. At this time I am working on a good visualizer and also the ability to show the saves lyrics associated with the song.

Keep in touch! Keep coming back to the site for the latest updates.

Topic "A fix on adding or editing radio stations problem" a message from joelrb

A fix has been submitted to Apple for review which solves the problem encountered by iPhone and iPod touch users whose preferred language is NOT english.

The problem specifically occurs on the slider to select the radio band, either "FM" or "AM". It appears that the letters "FM" or "AM" on the band slider are not recognized when device is set to non-English language.

In the updated iPlayMuvee version 1.1, these two selections will appear as an image and not as letters so that translation problem to non-English language would be avoided.

Topic "Desktop or Web-based Management of iPlayMuvee Data" a message from joelrb

I admit it is hard to "type" text into a small screen in iPhone or iPod touch. It's a bit cumbersome to input in textfields the links to your favorite radio, video or audio sources specially if the URL is too long.

It would be nice to be able to manage these link from outside of the iPhone or iPod touch and then sync your changes back to the device.

I plan to have an application (desktop-based or web-based or both) that would be able to sync data with your iPhone or iPod touch so that you can easily add your audio, radio and video links to iPlayMuvee database as well as manage your alarms from the external application.

The current visualizer for iPlayMuvee uses simple animations in iPhone and iPod touch. It would be nice to have a selection of visualizers that you can select from according to the mood of the music being played.
